My glossy box - beauty finally arrived in the post yesterday!!! When i got home from work i went directly to my mailbox! I knew that something special was waiting for me... the one and only "glossy box" !!! This is my very first and honestly i have to say there is nothing more exiting than receiving beauty products in the post wrapped up all beautifully in a pink box. If you haven't heard about their concept here's a short explanation: For a € 10 a month subscription you receive a box of specially selected products to try out and then you can receive discounts on there website to purchase more of the goods . Today i finally got my new internet package!!! I have been getting a little bit angry after waiting almost 4 weeks and my iPhone has been struggling to keep up with my intense browsing. So here is a quick update of my life.

- exactly one year ago i moved into my flat (i'm still missing some pictures on my walls)

- during my holidays i treated myself to a brand new iMac computer - (thanks to my overtime pay-out) and i'm so happy with it.

- i'm back to work - may the games and hectic times begin ;)

- my birthday is coming up and i will turn 24 - unbelievable!!

Hey guys!

During the christmas time my parents and i went to a new restaurant in salzburg that opened up a couple of weeks ago and since my brother is a new member of the crew i also wanted to check out his new workplace.

For this occasion i chose to wear a golden brocade dress from zara (old collection) with an old vintage belt with lions on it from my mum and a new clutch from h&m.

After a funny Christmas staff partyon thursday at the baruania and a reallystressfull last minute Christmas shopping on Friday (7 hours in a row) I’ve packed all my stuff at midnight and took thenew “westbahn” train at 10 am in the morning to get home to my family.

One thing I noticed right away was that I don’t haveto carry my heavy suitcase all the wayup over 3 steps..like I usually did! This is such a big advantage for alloverpackers…and yes I’m 100 % such a person!!

When I first walked into the ground level train i reallythought I was at the business class - but i was at the right department. The leather seats are really nice and comfy – perfect for a power-nap!

Tickets can be bought online but you can also buy yourticket from the on-board train service personnel – like I did. From Vienna toSalzburg you will pay € 23,80.

The trains have WESTstewards in every department and they are sopolite & friendly +WESTlan service allows passengers to use freewireless internet on board. At the moment I think I prefer to travelwith this train...

Christmas Decoration

Guess what...i've finally have my own white christmas tree. This year, me and my bofriend put the new tree up already 2 weeks before Christmas. I wasn't sure about the quantity of decoration stuff ...but i think i'm only missing a few highlights on it. Decorating the whole apartment is something i really love about this time and as soon as Christmas wraps up i'm still trying to find the perfect presents for my parents.

What a fun BLOGGER night…yesterdayVicky invited us to her place for a little dinner. It all started at 7 pm and surprisinglyI was on time…so I snapped some pictures of the wonderful decorated tablebefore the rest of the bloggers showed up. Vicky prepared a wide range of delicious food andtons of wine …hello headache!

We had so much fun last night…and itwas great getting to know everyone better, taking pictures as usual withinstagram (such a typical blogger-app) and talking and laughing about tons of different topics. I ended up getting at home at 3 o’clock in the morning ...never expected that.

Sorry, I’m kind a lame when it comes to my blog. I’mstill busy but my job is going pretty well right now…and we are almost done withthe hardworking season!! … I said almost…because next week is going to bechaotic like usual…I guess. I think I mentioned it before …like two or threetimes… that i’m working for an event agency and right now we have to organizetwo editorial shootings and two fashionshows for the next week. This is goingto be so much fun…when you’re not exhausted as hell! Last week we haveorganized the late night shopping fashion show in salzburg (in my hometown). Itwas highly frequented and after the show we’re finally able to enjoy the wholeevent. If your're interested i can do a little post about this event...let me know :)

Hey guys!

This pictures where taken near Mariahilfestraße which is the biggest shopping mile here in Vienna. The temperature were insane on that day. I met up with Vicky and finally gave her my little gift from Rome. If you're curious click here! So yesterday i went back to work ...and i didn't expect anything. But for now i can say that this week is going to be stressfull which includes a big event, a fashion show and a covershooting.

Here are some pictures while we were strolling around the Vatican State. We decided to take a look behind the Vatican and i really I thought many people will do that... but i was totally wrong. We discovered the rail tracks (pictures below) and the gateway (sliding doors built in the wall surrounding the Vatican) which admits the railway to the Vatican station. Later that day we went to the Circus Maximus which is also a very impressive area. We also tried to find the Via Appia Antica but we toally failed. Hopefully i will get there on my next Rome trip.

Sperlonga

Hey guys...it's time to show you Sperlonga. Besides the typical city trip me and my boyfriend wanted something else than just seeing historical monuments in our vacation. That's why we went to three diffrent beaches near Rome. One of them was Sperlonga which is a coastal town in the province of Latina, and about one and a half hour away from the big city. (First you have to take the train to Fondi-Sperlonga - one way ticket € 6,20 - when you arrive at the Fondi-Sperlonga station their will be a shuttle bus waiting to take you into town - one way trip € 1). After a short walk through the small alleys we took some pictures on the highest point of this white hilltop town...and i only can say "What a beautiful view!". Warning: Picture overload!

As i already told you i also got some purchases during my vacation in Rome. I really thought that i would find some really cool pieces but i honestly have to say that it was really hard to find some affordable clothes. Luckily i found 2 pair of shoes. Little note: I got the black ones right at the Termini station (inside)...so if you're ever get to the trainsation of Rome you should stop by at some of their shops. I also got a nice indian bracelet and a cute little fox tail at the Porta Portese Market.
In the last picture you can see my outfit from sunday - i was finally able to wear one of those high heels.

Rome by night

In my last post i showed you Rome during the day and a couple of typical sights but at night this wonderful city turns into the most romantic places i've ever been to. The streets are full of people and lights. If you ever come to Rome you should definitely walk along the Tiber. The lamps reflect every single color of the bridges on the river which looks like an illuminated mirror. The whole city looks like a painting and everything seems to be so unreal.

On our first night we went to the Colosseum which is after the Vatican the second most visited monument in Rome...before that we passed by at the HUGE monument Vittorio Emanuele II.We only took pictures with phone exept the first and the last one.

On the next day we started our day at the Porta Portese flea market. It happens every Sunday. I wouldn't recommend it at all. It's kind of disapointing. You won't get good stuff and every 5 steps you'll get the same junk. Most of my purchases i got at the Via Corso which I will show you in my next post.

Hey everyone!!

I’m back from Rome and I have so many pictures to share with you. So let’s begin with “day 1”!. First of all going by train from Vienna to Rome isn’t that great as it seems. We booked the overnight train and spent almost 14 hours in a cabine with other traverllers and stopped at 6 or 7 trainstation which means steady traveller change. So if you try to sleep you'll wake up at every stop.

The biggest advantage is that you’ll arrive right at the Termini station where you can get quickly to your hotel.

We arrived at our B&B hotel at 10 am which was situated at Corso Italia. We left our luggage at the reception (check in was at 11 am) and made it right to the city by foot. We passed so many beautiful places like the Villa Borghese and the park of it. It took us only 15 min to get to Piazza del Popolo where you can either choose the typical shooping street Via del Corso (right in the middle), the left one where you can get to the famous spanish steps of Rome or the right one Via di Ripetta. We went right to Piazza di Spagna, which is always very crowded but lovely to sit.

For the whole day I was wearing my new converse – highly recommended. The truly safed my vacation. In the next few days you will get to see more pictures of my wonderful trip including my trip to Sperlonga.

Packing for Rome

It's official ...me and my boyfriend will spend one week in Rome...and while you're reading this post i'm trying to get all my stuff packed. Instead of flicking through my wardrobe and pulling out things i might not wear i think about what i'll be doing the next days. Of course this will be a typical city trip where i have to walk around A LOT. So this time i decided to stick to a few colours which means a lot of neutral colours so that i can mix the pieces up. But i will also take some pieces with me which i saved for my holidays. And even if i might not go out - never, ever go anywhere without a really nice dress.

What's the best place to celerbrate on of my besties return on a sunny day - i would say telaviv beach. It's one of the coolest "beaches" here in vienna which is created on the danube canal plus you get to see a gorgeous sunset. Besides that you can get the most delicous ice teas which i ordered right away. After we shared all of your stories from the last couple of weeks we used this wonderful location for a new outfit shoot.

Hey guys!! These days i prefer to call my umbrella as my best friend. The weather is awful and i'm definitely not used to this cold temperature. Hey guys! It's sunday and i'm on my way back to vienna after a perfect weekend in my hometown salzburg. I spent much time with my mum and dad (plus i got him the perfect birthday present), went to the hairdresser, met some good old friends and went out, found the perfect black bag, got 2 new jumpsuit and went to my favourite vintage shop where i bought a lot of "new" unique clothes. It was qutite hectic and there was definitely less time for relaxing moments but i'm superhappy that i've done a lot the last 3 days. But one thing has to change when it comes to traveling: overpacking! You can't imagine how much clothes i wasn't wearing - but blame it on the weather!

This is my ultimate SALE look. Ok, almost .. but i wasn't even my intention :). Two weeks ago i got this maxidress from H&M which i love to combine with a cropped tshirt....thanks to my washing machine ;). It’s been a week since my parents left (the visited for 3 days).

Hey guys, i think you already know that H&M and Mango launched their Summer Sale! That's why i went to their stores at the Kärntnerstraße whitout having big expectations. Frozen Yogurt Time

The best way to finish one's work is definitely meeting your girls and grabbing a huge delicious cup of frozen yogurt. On Wednesday i was able meeting Vicky and her friend Sophie and stop by at KURT - which is the name of the lovely shop which sells frozen yoghurt in 3 diffrents flavors. I've choosen pure and peach white tea yogurt topped with chocolate chips, strawberries, granola and raspberries. YUMMY! So if you're not into the super sugar ice cream stuff this is probably the best alternative you'll ever find.

There are so many places in Vienna you can choose for a perfect outfit of the day shoot. One of this places is definitely the Burggarten. On sunday a lot of bloggers were invited to spend some time together, having a lovely picnic and get to know each other a little bit more. I choose to wear my favourite hippie maxi dress i have in my closet.

As you can see i'm wearing my brand new shoes. At the beginning i wasn't sure about the hight but they are really one of my comfortablest high heels i own. In fact the are really high but they are so easy to walk with. That's why i decided to wear them yesterday night. Vicky and I went to Palais Kinsky again but first we met at my place for having a little Cosmopolitan-Party.

Hello everyone!
Hope you all doing fine. I'm so happy that i'm able to post a new outfit. (thanks for the pictures Vicky <3) Since i work in the event industry freetime is definitely luxury for me. In the next 2 weeks i will try to show you what i have been working on...and i still have some Life Ball Pictures to post.
But for now you can see what i wore last week. Mangoblüte invited a couple of bloggers to celebrate her birthday at Orlando di Castello which is a really nice place. + the atmosphere was really great. I was superhappy seeing all the girls since i've never 't attend the blogger events in recent weeks.
But next week ...on sunday all the girls will get together for a flower-power picnic.

Bright colors ...bright smile! Two days ago Vicky and I decided to meet again for a little Blogger-Shoot. This week i finally met Vicky from bikinisandpassports after a really long time. I think we havn't seen each other more than one month which is totally crazy when you live in the same city.

After her vacation in L.A. I was super happy when she stopped by on monday at my workplace for a little chat/job. She already told me that she's got a little present for me. How lovely :) THANK YOU AGAIN CUTIE!

She got me something from Victoria's secret ...as you can see in the picture...and an amazing hand gel from pocket bac (warm vanilla sugar) which smells sooooo good!!!

...and again it's a really long time ago that you've heard and seen something from me.

In the meantime i totally prepeard for summer...which means MORE COLOR PIECES but the biggest problem is that the temperatures still go up and down and i'm never sure what to wear every single day ...besides the fact that I only like a layered look in the winter time.

This time i mixed two different red-orange colors with one of my favourite scarf which i never published on my blog...honestly i really don't know why.

Weekend is almost over ...and in about 6 hours i'm back in the train! Vienna is calling! It's still nice to visit my hometown but i already miss the big city life. My weekend wasn't pretty exited but i had a good and relaxing time. On saturday i spent my whole day in the city where i havn't been for almost 4 months or something.....how time flies...but now it's about time to get all my stuff in my suitcase...have a nice sunday!

Vienna Awards 2011

Yesterday night in Vienna there were the third Vienna Awards . For all those people who weren't able to attend this big event had the opportunity to see the whole show via live-stream which includes also people who weren't invited. At the beginning ...maybe around 7 pm...i arrived at the Musuemsquartier to check in to "Halle E". Honestly i was really impressed by the whole location (see the pictures below)...and this time all the austrian bloggers were placed at one table...thanks to maria!!! It was very enjoyable being sourrounded by familiar faces...and spending the whole evening together. So thanks to alle the bloggers who showed up :)

Last friday it finally happened ...Vicky and I were able to shoot some outfit posts together. I think we both were really happy about the fact that there was no "self-timer" action at all...like it always is....and it's definitely more fun spending some time togehter and talking about all the bloggers, about fashion and the typical girly-stuff. This time i found an amazing location at my house during i brought the garbage to the waste-room..;) I'd rather prefer this kind of places for a shoot because it gives you the perfect contrast to your clothing ...

Last week I was invited to the Mühlbauer store to take some pictures of an outfit.

I was super happy that I was able to stop by and choose my favourite look which was a playsuit, a leather jacket and a huuuuge bag. The idea came from Anna who’s such a sweet and funny person. I think it’s a really cool idea for both sides and definitely something new for the austrian bloggers. …hopefully I get the chance to shoot some pics with the well known Mühlbauer hats … next time!!!

So this is my little cosy place where i usually spend most of my time when i'm at home...just because i still have not my covers for my ikea couch..my living room is still missing 30 % of stuff..as for example...a big carpet, pictures and paintings...curtains..to get a little contrast ...what else...yeah definitely a dining table, plants and so on...but it will be presentabe in about 2 or 3 weeks...
so let's talk about this post...2 days ago i found these products from alverde..which is a really affordable and nice brand from dm. (just my personal opinion) i decided to go for it and give it a try...and these are the products...
